UNICEF seeks a senior economic and public finance consultant to generate evidence, analysis and policy recommendations on how debt dynamics, fiscal adjustment and broader macroeconomic reforms shape fiscal space for child-relevant social sector financing. The assignment will combine empirical analysis, political economy analysis and policy reform analysis to generate actionable recommendations for national stakeholders and contribute to broader international discussions on debt, development financing and child outcomes.

The Representative serves as the accredited representative of UNICEF in the country and reports to the Regional Director for general direction and oversight. The Representative is responsible for establishing dialogue with the Government to develop the framework of cooperation in the country and for working closely and collaboratively with the Government and national institutions, stakeholders and partners, to develop the Government-UNICEF Country Programme of Cooperation in active support of efforts to advance children’s rights as established under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, other international treaties/frameworks, the SDGs, and UN intergovernmental bodies.

UNICEF Country Office in Croatia is looking for Face-to-Face (F2F) Fundraiser for the direct recruitment of pledge donors during all of 2026. Fundraising activities will be conducted in Zagreb and Rijeka as well as in cities across the country with mobile teams. To reach our fundraising targets, a team of 35 - 50 Fundraisers is required continuously.
